• Cutting the key: The locksmith will follow one of the two codes; blind or biting code depends on the specific lock.  A locksmith will work his magic by creating the key to its specified code.

A car dealer will charge you more for the same job that a locksmith will do to cut and replace your car keys.  A locksmith will require the following information to issue you a new set of car keys.  

• Make and model of the car 
• Year of production 
• Proof of ownership    
• In case of a stolen car, make sure to let your auto locksmith know so they can reprogram your car to ensure stolen keys don’t work.

One of our skilled and experienced professional will be able to tell by simply looking at your lock if it’s possible for them to create a new key for you.     

The lost or misplaced key is a common problem. We can open the doors without the key. We have a variety of ways to gain entry without the keys, such as lock picking, bumping the lock, and drilling. We come with all the skills required to open a door without any keys or damage the door.     

Duplicate copies cannot be made without an original key or an already made copy of the original, therefore duplicates cannot be made. When the situation occurs where you lose your keys, we suggest having your locks changed, which will provide you with a new set of keys. It’s highly recommended that you have your locks changed by a professional as soon as possible after losing your keys for safety purposes.    

Yes, if your key breaks in the lock, a locksmith can safely extract the broken key and provide you with a new one. AS&L has the tools to remove broken keys without damaging the lock.
